Preschool Board – Howard Smith, Shelley Aust, Kelli Karst Synod Assembly – John and Betty Wagner Nomination Committee – Clint Borkowski, Nyla Anderson, Lois Smith, Richard Anderson, John Stark, & Karolyn Kufeld Gifted to Grow Campaign – Teams will be making visits and calls through November 22nd. The goal was met at $544,000 and was announced at the Celebration Breakfast. Any funds/commitments forward will be applied to the challenge goal. The correct structure is to have Council and Finance Ministry decide when and how to fund projects as outlined in the prospectus. It is recommended that the distribution to various ministries be based on ministry needs proportionately rather than equal percentages to each ministry. This topic will be tabled to January meeting. Reports: Secretary’s Report – September meeting minutes were handed out for review. Detailed line item reductions for each ministry will be removed. Sharon Johnson moved to approve the minutes as amended and Nyla Anderson seconded the motion. Motion carried. Financial Report - Steve Backsen presented the Financial Report ending October 31. A line of credit was tapped in for the Gifted to Grow Campaign and that will be reimbursed when contributions come in. Richard moved to approve the Financial Report as presented and Rick seconded the motion. A vote on the motion carried unanimously. Pastors - This year Trinity is hosting the Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 24th. All are encouraged to attend and bring a pie for fellowship after the service. Sharon handed out a brochure for world hunger entitled Bread for the World.
