Gifted to Grow Campaign – Teams will be making visits and calls through November 22nd. The goal was
met at $544,000 and was announced at the Celebration Breakfast. Any funds/commitments forward will be
applied to the challenge goal. The correct structure is to have Council and Finance Ministry decide when
and how to fund projects as outlined in the prospectus. It is recommended that the distribution to various
ministries be based on ministry needs proportionately rather than equal percentages to each ministry. This
topic will be tabled to January meeting.
Reports:
Secretary’s Report – September meeting minutes were handed out for review. Detailed line item reductions
for each ministry will be removed. Sharon Johnson moved to approve the minutes as amended and Nyla
Anderson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Financial Report - Steve Backsen presented the Financial Report ending October 31. A line of credit was
tapped in for the Gifted to Grow Campaign and that will be reimbursed when contributions come in. Richard
moved to approve the Financial Report as presented and Rick seconded the motion. A vote on the motion
carried unanimously.
Pastors - This year Trinity is hosting the Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 24th. All are
encouraged to attend and bring a pie for fellowship after the service.
Sharon handed out a brochure for world hunger entitled Bread for the World.
Respectfully submitted by,
Jean Ferrin, Council Secretary
