Many of you may remember us from a couple of years ago.
From 2006 - 2012 we produced the very popular Mellow
Magazine. However, personal circumstances meant that we
quickly needed to return to the UK. But now two years later
we´re back, newly married and with a brand new magazine.

to your new
monthly
magazine
So, let´s start with a great big welcome to this, our very first
issue of Tickled Squirrel. As before, the magazine will be
produced on a monthly basis.
It´s amazing how much the human race has become reliant on the Internet. I hadn´t realised just
how important it was until working on this first magazine which was started in England, completed
in Spain and most of the time with no connection to the world wide web. I´m even more surprised
that I´ve managed to get the copy put together on time for the printer whilst at the same time
searching for somewhere to live and also driving over from the UK with my daughter, my dog and
my great friend Gail who became quite ill en route to Alicante.
We aim to be informative, fun and interesting, but to achieve this we need you to tell us what you
want, and to help us do this send us an email to [email protected] and let us know
what it is that you´d like to see.
Inside this month you´ll find a great selection of articles, some writers whose names will be familiar
to you as well as a few new names. There´s a double page spread of puzzles for you to ponder
over whilst sipping your vino on the terraces of the many great bars and restaurants as you take in
the warming winter sunshine.
December 6th is Spanish Constitution Day and December 8th is the
Feast of the Immaculate Conception. To find out more about these
fiestas there is a short article on page 24.
Christmas is now just around the corner. Whether we will be unpacked
in our new home or had the time to go shopping for gifts remains to
be seen but we would like to take this chance to wish each and every
reader a very Merry Christmas and we´ll see you next month with the
January issue.
