Summertime, summertime… it’s that time of year again and we are busy
planning for your return to Naples! Golf, fitness, spa, dining and activity calendars
are being planned with your suggestions in mind. Our goal is to provide events
and activities that are both appealing and convenient to schedule during your
time at the Club. As soon as dates and details are confirmed, we will post them
on our Members website calendar. As always there will be printed versions
available at the Administrative Office in early fall for you to take home.
Our annual membership meeting was held on Thursday May 8, 2014. Member
feedback following the meeting was very positive. We are committed to listening to our Members
and we use Member feedback to develop action plans to improve your Club experience. My General
Manager’s Report and a summary of the question and answer session from the meeting are available
on the Members website.

What is TEE IT FORWARD?
TEE IT FORWARD, is a national awareness campaign encouraging golfers to play from tees best
suited to their ability. Tiburón’s Director of Golf Chad Nigro and our professional staff are excited
to support this national initiative and encourage all golfers to give it a try! Here are some basic

Chad and I recently experienced the benefit of this program firsthand when we suggested to a
gentleman we were playing with to move up two sets of tees for his round. What a difference!
We witnessed a transformation in confidence and scoring and we sure saw a lot of smiles. After the
round, the gentleman thanked us for suggesting he play from the forward tee. He said he had more
fun playing the game than he had in many years and he would definitely be moving up from now on.
We work very hard to make your time spent at Tiburón enjoyable. If we succeed, please tell your
