Will I have to pay any assessments ?
As a non-equity club , Members will not be subject to operating or capital assessments . Dues , house minimums and use charges are not considered assessments .
Is any portion of my Medallion Membership fee refundable ?
Upon resignation and resale of Medallion Membership , a resigning Member will receive a percentage of the membership fee charged for membership on the date of resignation . The refundable percentage will be eighty percent ( 80 %) of the then-current Medallion Membership Fee ( exclusive of sales tax ) unless otherwise determined by the Partnership . Notwithstanding the foregoing , the amount repaid to a resigned Member shall not be greater than the membership fee paid by an incoming Member .
On what basis are resigned Medallion Memberships resold ?
Medallion Memberships may not be sold or transferred by a Member . Members may resign their membership to the Partnership , who will resell resigned memberships on a rotating basis , with previously unissued memberships . Until the issuance of all available Medallion Memberships , at times when there are resigned Medallion Memberships for sale , every fifth Medallion Membership issued will be a resigned Medallion Membership . The other four memberships will be issued from the available unissued Medallion Memberships . After all Medallion Memberships have been initially issued , each Medallion Membership sold will be from the resigned waiting list .
