• Use sunscreen. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. When you're outdoors, reapply sunscreen every two hours — or more often if you're swimming or perspiring. • Seek shade. Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest. • Wear protective clothing. Cover your skin with tightly woven long-sleeved shirts, long pants and wide-brimmed hats. Also consider laundry additives, which give clothing an additional layer of ultraviolet protection for a certain number of washings, or special sun-protective clothing — which is specifically designed to block ultraviolet rays. 4. Exercise Who Knew? Yes, exercise is really good for your skin. It helps to deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin and improves the overall condition of your skin! 5. Get Your Beauty Sleep! It’s a well-known fact that our bodies require at least 7-8 hour of rest per night to fully regenerate. It’s during the night that our cells are regenerated for healthy, glowing skin. Also getting a full night’s sleep will help to prevent dark under eye circles and dehydration. 6. Stress – Less! Stress can take a huge toll on our bodies and our skin is included. The more you stress, the more you’re prone to breakouts and other skin care problems.
