is helping me is Spectro Oils.
Spectro sent me a case of oil
when I won the Makeover in
2014 and they superseded any
notions I had of them becoming
sponsors as they not only sent me
a case of their straight 60 weight
oil for my old Harleys BUT they
also sent me two cases of their
Motor Guard high zinc oils for
my vintage car addiction! Most
conventional oils do not contain
enough zinc or phosphorous but
this oil is made specifically for
flat tappet cams.
Others that have agreed to
help me include Viking Bags
and Motorcycle House who have
sent me a GoPro Hero 5 Session
to film my adventures; Baker
Drivetrain, who sent me two
T-shirts, a hoodie and a $100
gas card; my tattoo artist since
2007, Dessa Blackthorn, owner
of Tattooz by Sassy in nearby
Mountain Home, Arkansas; and
my favorite cousin, Carla Curtis.
I run the Baker Drivetrain N-1
shift drum (that puts neutral on
the bottom) in both of my vintage
Harleys. Dessa Blackthorn has
done all of my ink including my
award winning sleeves of my
Panhead and my Knucklehead.
My main passion in life
(besides old Harleys and hot
rods) is PROMOTION and
MARKETING. I am currently in
the midst of hosting my second
annual “Throwback Thursdays”
where I show old car movies
at the local Kenda Drive-In in
Marshall, Arkansas, free of charge
to anyone driving a pre-1980
vehicle. Although everything I
do is 100% volunteer, I am using
my GOD given passion to not
only promote women but the
hobby in general. I would like to
motivate others that if you have
your priorities straight, you can
accomplish almost anything you
set out to do!
At the bottom of my every
email I send out is a quote
that I live by “When you want
something bad enough, the
whole universe conspires to give
it to you”. I am a huge believer in
setting goals and marking them
off each year in a notebook that
I keep. Some years I know what
I am going to accomplish and
some years things happen in life
that add exciting ideas to my list.
THIS is one of those years!!!!
I live and breathe for the
machine!
