Letter from The Editor Hello Riders, Get ready to cool down! With the Autumn temps, comes my favorite ride clothes, HOODIES and leathers! I know many riders who cannot wait for the, as they call it, Hoodie Riding Season. Personally, I agree and I’m a big fan of riding in fall foliage. It’s that time in which God paints a canvas that vanishes after a few short weeks. The most difficult part is figuring out just when those couple of weeks will be. My advice? Keep the last few weekends of October and first week of November open to the possibility of a colorful ride in SE Oklahoma. Muskogee, OK area offers a plethora of wonderful curvy roads, through areas with streams, rivers, lakes and a waterfall! For information and a map including five routes covering over 750 miles, go to www. visitmuskogee.com or see their Facebook page #ridemuskogee. Within those maps is another area I highly recommend called the Talimena National Scenic Byway. Join me on October 14 and 15 for the Talirally! This is a unique rally, of sorts, which carries us throughout the area in SE Oklahoma and SW Arkansas. I have been asked for the third year to host a ride across the Talimena Scenic Drive between Talihina, OK and Mena, AR. While this is only 54 miles, we take our time in rolling between the two towns, getting to know new riding friends, stopping at vendor booths, snapping selfies and enjoying the gorgeous views across the plateaus which stretch below the East/West mountain range. Please join me for this fun event. You can find details of this unique adventure in this issue. Alright, now then, make some plans to ride! You have no excuse to not get out in this gorgeous Fall weather!
