Letter from The Editor Hello My Riding Friends, The month of Thankfulness is upon us. Having a heart of gratitude is such a great feeling. Being able to appreciate those around me and all the blessings I possess is about as a good a feeling as the fi rst time I approached the Rocky Mountains on two wheels; or cruised Lazelle Street in Sturgis; Rode the Galveston Coastline or rode 16 hours straight, just to say I could do it. It ranks right up there with meeting Al Unser Sr., Jessie Combs, Gloria Struck, Toby Keith, Billy Lane, Roland Sands, Cyril Huze and John Paul DeJoria. But the greatest joy is riding alongside complete strangers in the morning and sharing phone numbers with, what seems like, brothers and sisters by the end of the day. All of these things I’ve done due to owning Thunder Roads Magazine OK/AR for the past 9 years. The magazine began sixteen years ago producing an issue every single month…..that’s 192 non-interrupted issues! Would you like an opportunity to do all of these things? It’s time to pass the torch and allow the next Thunder Roads Magazine OK/AR Editor to take over. You read that right! After much consideration and making many life changes, it’s time for me to pass on the torch of this work that doesn’t feel like work! It’s true! It can happen. And this time, it may happen to you.
