people to get acquainted with
a few of the riders they’d been
riding alongside. We proceeded
from there on to the Queen
Wilhelmina Lodge. This is a
great Arkansas state park which
has been recently remodeled
and includes a hotel, restaurant
and rv park. It sits high atop the
mountain for an amazing view in
many directions. A group of us
decided it was a perfect day to
ride the small train that circles the
property. After all, how long has
it been since you rode the kiddy
train? With plenty of silliness,
we were off once again to ride
back across the mountain at a
fairly good clip to our final party
destination of Chuck’s Classic
Cycle near Tuskahoma, OK.
Here we were treated like royalty!
If you are looking for somewhere
to hangout on a porch, catch a
band near their outdoor cantina
on occasion, get a motorcycle
repaired or look over Chuck’s
private selection of antique
motorcycles, this is our place.
The proprietors are Chuck and
Kelly and they came to this area
to get away from city life to enjoy
great riding and nature. The best
part is that they wanted to share
that with all of us by creating a
cool classic cycle hangout.
Talimena With T went
tremendously well. Many smiles
were shared. Friends were made
and numbers exchanged to share
future rides together. All in all at
the end of the day, we had made
our way across perhaps the most
beautiful miles in Oklahoma and
are looking forward to the next
time. I hope you’ll join us!
