Todd said he got into Harley-
Davidson three or four years ago.
When he bought the Street Glide
Special, he visited all the stores in
Oklahoma City shopping for the
right one to customize his bike.
His Father in law had bought one
many years ago and reminded
him to not forget about Forman
Harley-Davidson in Stillwater.
He said upon their visit, they
found that Lynn was a great help
and everyone on staff was extra
helpful. After speaking to Ben
about his options, he felt very
reassured that Forman would be
a great choice for their build.
Once the decision was made,
it was time to get started. Ben
was particularly happy to get this
build as he wanted to be able to
help show the public what they
can do regarding customizing at
their Harley-Davidson dealership.
Todd felt assured that he could
trust them with his custom work
as well as his motor build. In
addition, having the work done
by Harley-Davidson, assured him
that he could retain his warranty
on the new bike.
When asked what he would
recommend to others who are
interested in customizing their
ride, he had a few pieces of
advice. He said the first step is to
find someone you know you can
work well with. His mechanic,
Ben, spent a lot of time with him
in choosing the parts and fitting
them to the bike. He said that
the whole team at Forman were
easy to work with through his
work. Secondly, he said to realize
that it takes a lot of patience
and time. Piecing a motorcycle
together with one off parts, has
a certain degree of testing and
retesting it. Third, he said you
should really consider Forman
Harley-Davidson for outstanding
personal service, attention to
details and a really beautiful end
result.
