on a shoestring budget, having
barely enough to get me through
the next week once I got back.
Some guys offered me food and
beer, and by food I don’t mean a
left over hot dog, I mean they had
went all out- homemade garlic
bread, steaks, catfish, baked
beans, brats. You name it, these
folks were beyond giving.
The ingenuity that these
gentlemen
put
into
their
machines, the fine details, the
love and passion that they have
for this old iron.... WOW, I’ll be
honest, I felt like I was finally at
home, with family. A community I
didn’t want to leave. I had never
in my life seen so many great
pieces of history. These guys
brought ‘em out to not only show
to others who love them but to
RIDE them. These machines
were ridden. They were not
washing them, waxing them and
using Q-tips to get every last
piece of dirt and grime off. The
dirt and grime added to the cool
factor.
