Letter from The Editor Hello My Fellow Riders and Rowdy Friends! So Memorial Day has passed and, as always, my heart was torn as I read and heard countless stories of those who died in upholding and honoring the Red, White and Blue. I spent some time praying for the families of those soldiers lost in battles and those who are still facing those battles today. I wish sincere gratitude to all military persons past and present. I thank you for your service.! Now we are on to Summer. Does that mean it’s kosher to wear white riding boots? NO. Just kidding you all! But I am definitely excited about lacing, zipping and buckling up my boot straps for one great June! My gosh these months have been spectacular lately. This month we here at Thunder Roads, are going to be sponsoring two large events which we are proud to be a part of with two great groups. The first one comes on June 13 and 14 with the Pig Trail Harley-Davidson Custom Bike Show in Rogers, AR. This is a ride in show that has a purse of over $6,000 and a photo shoot of the winning bike which will go on the cover and centerfold as the feature bike of the month. You can’t beat a deal like that! Next, I travel down South a bit and play around on the Oklahoma Arkansas state line as we travel across the expansive mountain range known as Talimena National Scenic Drive. This is a gorgeous area and the sites from atop that mountain are breath taking for anyone whether your first time there or you’ve been many times before. Come join me for this one day Talimena Rally Ride. It’s free and going to have some fun extras throughout the day. I can hardly wait! There are plenty of great events going on all over Oklahoma and Arkansas. If you can’t join us for these two events, look at our events calendar in this issue in the back. You are sure to find something to meet new riding friends and hang out and maybe even dance a little to some great tunes! Now that’s living the good life! Get out. Ride your bike.
