Letter from The Editor Howdy Folks! I feel like that’s the most appropriate greeting for this month as I come from of spending the month of June in Northwest and Southwest Arkansas and in the Quachita National Forest of Southeast Oklahoma. I’ve got to tell you all that I’m counting my blessings. We were able to participate in two fabulous first events that are sure to become annual events. I say we as I was accompanied throughout the two week stretch with my trusty sidekick Melanie Farmer. I call her Mel and she joined our Thunder Roads Magazine Crew back in January. She has single-handedly turned the Arkansas portion of our magazine around! I can’t wait for all of you to meet her, as well as, see the articles and information coming out of that state. I have some big news! We will be making a big showing this September at Bikes, Blues and BBQ as our National Founders and the full size ThunderPete are present with “T” and the Thunder Crew at the Baum Center. Come say hi to all of us. As always, we are looking forward to this event, the friendships and the memories we make every year. And don’t forget it’s time to roll out to Sturgis. This means for you to call your mechanic or buy that rain suit today. Don’t wait and make yourself rush like crazy. I will be covering the Sturgis Bike Rally as I ride up August 2nd returning on the 10th. Make sure to watch our Facebook, Twitter and Instragram accounts for the play by play account of “T”s trip to the world’s largest motorcydcle rally.
