GIVING YOUR CAGE

Hey guys , it ’ s almost that time of the year that we need to take care of our cages ! ( Cages also known as Cars !)
The first thing we should do is
1 ) Make sure all of fluids are properly filled and up to snuff .
2 ) The motor oil should be clean and fresh for the winter , our cars and trucks idle quite a bit longer than normal , and this causes premature breakdown of valuable lubrication components .
3 ) The engine coolant should be checked for proper freeze point and boil over temperatures . Also , with today ’ s higher operating temps , the pH should be checked . Yep just like your pool . It should be close to 8.0 . if that number gets low it turns to acid ! If it goes high , it causes excessive build up in the cooling system . A good quality coolant flush will usually remedy this situation and also clean out the heater core ( not that bikers use any heat ). 4 ) This is a great time to replace those old ragged wipers . 5 ) Tire pressure is VERY important . 6 ) Make sure the lighting works properly .
That ’ s just a few things to consider as the winter has set in here in Oklahoma . We would be happy to perform these maintenance procedures for you as well as any repairs you may need . Come out and see us at Mike ’ s Diagnostic ! Who better to work on your cage than a biker owned business right here at 3025 S Holliday in Del City , OK ?
