Happy New Years and welcome to 2017 !
At 91 years old , Mrs . Gloria Tramontin Struck of New Jersey has been riding for 73 years ! At only 5ft tall , she is the matriarch of women riders logging in over 650,000 miles worldwide . She has always owned 3 or 4 bikes at a time with her favorite being her teal Heritage Softail Classic . Gloria has owned 14 bikes over her lifetime with 3 of them being Indians and the other 11 being Harley ’ s of various styles and years .

She was born in 1925 in an apartment behind her family ’ s motorcycle shop . How cool is that ??? And she rode in a time when they wouldn ’ t even serve women riders at gas stations . Since then , she has ridden in several other countries and all over the United States . Gloria joined The Motor Maids in 1946 and has since enjoyed the camaraderie with other women that share the love of riding . When she rides she says “ it clears your mind , it ’ s being free ”. She now rides with her daughter and granddaughter and she celebrated her 90th birthday at a motorcycle convention in Canada , and has made an appearance at Sturgis ... and this momma is no trailer queen at all . So Happy Birthday Gloria Struck , you are one inspiring Lipstick Rider !
