PATRIOTS CORNER

I have been hoping for the political world to settle down so i could get to the business of recognizing our local hero’ s, but that hasn’ t happened yet so let’ s get to it. The biggest item on the table this month is health care. There is an old liberal woman in Washington we’ ll call her Miss N. who was recently on the news saying that 28 million people will be without health care when the new President’ s plan takes effect. What she should have said is 28 million people who were almost forced at gunpoint by the U. S. Government to purchase this plan, so the greedy corrupt politicians could get more of our tax dollars.

As I watch the local news, I noticed they’ re trying to get the leftest groups all worked up again every time a police officer has to shoot someone for grabbing at his gun, or for pulling a gun on him. There is even a movie coming out soon that is full of propaganda about one particular shooting. But of course, nothing that can be proven, nor can any facts given.
Now here in Louisiana they’ re pulling down statutes( which I think is a crock). If a piece of metal offends half of the people and not the other half how is it fair to take it down? Jackson Square was erected in 1856, and no one was upset or offended in 1857, 1858, etc., now you see where I’ m going with this.
Here we are in 2017, and half the world is offended, most of whom know nothing about the statue or the Civil War. I have never been offended by a statue or a flag. Now I know it sounds insensitive, but think about it. The only problem I see is our Government keeps running big business out of America. The media tells people to fight for 15 dollars an hour at fast food restaurants.
I’ ve asked employees at fast food places if they think they wanted to work there for ever and even retire from that french fry station. The second word out of there mouth was“ No” you can guess the first was.
What the media does not tell these workers is each store is privately owned and the owners of these companies do not make a butt load of money. As someone who spent a year in Japan I have been in there fast food restaurants that are push button. Yep you just push a button pay andyour food comes through a hole in the wall.
As an American and a person who loves this country and every American hearted person I truly believe if we don’ t come together as people were finished as a nation. We must not let the greedy and the ignorant trick us into hating or killing each other remember United We Stand Divided We Fall. Also it’ s not us as a person that falls it’ s us as a nation and the lives of our children.

2017 PATRIOT TOUR

HONOR. UNITY. RESPECT.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING
Each year, the Nation of Patriots organizes in a national effort to honor and pay tribute to ALL of America’ s Armed Forces, past present, and fallen. This United Effort is known as The Patriot Tour.
The Patriot tour begins Memorial Day weekend. A massive group of riders escorts one American Flag on the back of a motorcycle to Woodstock Harley Davidson in Illinois. Upon arrival, the flag is transferred to the Illinois escort. The very next day the flag is taken it Indiana, and then travels to Minnesota and on and on for 100 days through 48 states. The flag finally makes its full circle and lands right back to Wisconsin where it all started Labor Day weekend.
It’ s the very foundation of the American flag and all it represents that our brave men and women in the military have stood for and died defending, continue to stand and protect, and will forever fight for.
