remember to give with your hearts. Remember to give to yourselves as well!
We all know it’s been a hell of a year and we all deserve it! Merry Christmas to
all of my Lipstick Riders!
Our next Lipstick Rider, Candice Welch, a shy and quiet lil chick from
Chauvin, La has really started to come out of her shell a lot since she
discovered her addiction for riding. Starting about three years ago, when she
started dating a killer painter named Tim Scott, she didn’t even know how to
pull the clutch in on a motorcycle… Now she’s doing burn outs, pulling the
bike apart to paint and even winning shows with the beautiful lil bike she
created! She’s definitely not shy when it comes to talking about bikes either,
a chick after my own heart that one day will end up with a Harley (ha-ha
Candice ) But that girl loves her 2016 GSXR 1000, and she can ride!
Candice started out on a 2008 GSXR 600, learning to handle the bike and
the road and when she mastered it she moved up to her GSXR 1000 and loved
it! She loved her bike so much, she wanted it to truly reflect her so that girl
pulled it apart did all her little bodywork and sanding then Tim laid some
beautiful paint and together they created her beautiful bike! It’s so beautiful;
she just won Best Motorcycle at The Thibodauxville Car Show! Candice really
loves to show off her bike. It gives her a reason to ride it as well!
She squeezes as much riding time in as she can and even rides to work
on pretty days over at Bourgeois & Associates. Riding that motorcycle has
definitely brought her out of her shyness and has given her confidence to take
on bigger and better projects, always working hard to make sure that things
are just right. That shows the heart of a true Lipstick Rider! And I got to give it
to a chick that three years ago didn’t even know how to ride, to now tearing up
the streets and building bikes…
