field’s steak and oyster bar ...and sunday brunch
I’m gonna keep this month short and sweet, because words don’t describe this place!
You gotta taste it for yourself. I have eaten many steaks in my life, and to be honest, I
don’t normally ever order a steak in a restaurant because I’m so damned picky about
it. No one has ever grilled a steak to suit me other than my dad, so I usually just grill
my own. I kept hearing about the newest place on the beach in Bay St. Louis to get a
steak, so I gave it a try, and I must admit, it was incredible. Andy Kimball, or as I call him
affectionately, “the steak-chef- extraordinaire”, grilled it to a beautiful medium rare, just
the way I like it! My steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork! The appetizers were
tasty as well. Sample the French Onion Dumplings, Dynamite Shrimp and Tuna Tartare.,
plus many other items on the list. Did I mention the oysters yet? The street corn char
baked oysters are scrumptious! And for dessert I had the Chocolate peanut butter panna
cotta with coffee whip cream, corn flake crumble, salted pretzel chocolate bark topped
with chocolate sauce. But don’t take my word for it! Stop in or make a reservation, and
tell the manager, Gavin, Thunder Roads LA/MS road crew sent ya! Fields Steak and Oyster
is of course motorcycle friendly and only one hour from NOLA, located @ 111 Main Street,
Bay St. Louis Mississippi. Thunder Roads Road crew give Fields 5 out of 5 stars. Go give
them a like on Facebook! We’d DEFINITLEY Eat Dat!
