PATRIOTS CORNER
The opinion in this article does not necessarily represent Thunder Roads Magazine or its staff. This is mainly my opinion and of course those that agree with me.
Well folks the U. S. recently dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb ever on Afghanistan, the bomb was called MOAB. All I can say is“ it’ s about time”. This is what you do when you decide to win a war. When you are a leader of a country who is sick of being pushed around by third world garbage dumps. ISIS got what they have needed for a long time. Why did this happen now you ask? Why didn’ t we do this a long time ago? Well, this is just my American opinion, but I think it has something to do with getting the Muslim out of office and putting an American in office. If we keep fighting to win, less of our troops will get injured or killed. Government has put our troops in the line of fire for too long and now it looks like we have an American with the will to win in office.
While I’ m not real happy with bombing Russia, a country that has as much or now more nuclear weapons than us since this last administration screwed the military. Now we need to keep going after the garbage with a will to win.
I hope soon to get to interview some of our local heroes. I do believe for every Veteran who serves, that one trained vet saves many lives. For one man or woman who serves, someone in the U. S. lives. I believe God puts Doctors in place, Teachers in place, Nurses in place, and Warriors in place. Without our heroes, Warriors, Veterans whatever label you want to give our veterans, we don’ t live as we do. Too many people do not understand what these young men and women are doing. Just know, without them doing what they do you can’ t do what you do. So next time you see a vet thank them and maybe sneak off and pay for their dinner.
Many of our vets have a tough time coming home. My opinion is the amount of adrenalin they go through daily and then there sent home and daily jobs are just jobs. Adrenalin doesn’ t shut off. Adrenalin becomes an addiction and to go to a regular job tightening bolts on an automobile or putting a letter in a mailbox just don’ t cut it for many of our returning combat troops.
To who ever decided to drop the huge bomb,( President Trump) thank you? I only hope you continue to choose to win, continue to do what it takes to get our Troops home. God bless our troops, God bless America. Let MOAB be heard around the world that America is back and no more bowing, no more apologizing, no more taking crap from third world crap holes.
