Inspiration
Often in the realms of Second Life people are put down
based on real looks, who they date, who they’ve dated,
and being “successful” in their works. Similar to real life.
There are many more reasons why most people are
what some would call cruel, but at the end of the day no
one is perfect. The people that talk about others, log on
just as much and do the same things that the people
they talk about do. They’re all hypocrites. So don’t ever
let anyone on this grid make you feel as though you are
beneath them. Don’t ever get out of character. It’s hard,
TRUST ME I know. You just have to realize who’s worth
it and who’s not. That’s this month’s task. I want you to
work on ignoring the irrelevant.

Shai K.Rose
Designer and creator Shai K. Rose is the owner of the
clothing store Indented. Ms. Rose has been creating on
and off for about eight years and Indented has been
growing for about four years now. I asked Shai, “What
motivated you to start creating?” She responded with,
“Honestly I didn’t want to use my own money to upload
for lindens.” Who can beat that answer? Uploading
lindens can be very expensive. God only knows how
much I’ve spent over the years. Ms. Rose also said that,
“I knew my way around Photoshop so it also became a
hobby along with saving my own money.” Shai is one of
Second Life’s most creative mesh designers. She creates
a variety of different styles that fit some of the most
curvaceous women on the grid.
I asked did she think her work would take off as far as it
has. She told me that being that, “She had just come
back from a two year break she thought her store would
do okay, but not to the level where it is now.” Ms. Rose
loves being able to create things that she wants to see in
world that no one else has made. Since it became more
of a hobby she said she loves challenging herself and
seeing what all she can do with the different programs. I
couldn’t get away without asking about some potential
new releases and from Ms. Rose’s response, let’s just
say things are about to heat up.
