The School of Life
David Waters is a couples’ counsellor and
faculty member of The School of Life, where
he teaches classes including 'How to
Communicate Better in Love’, shares the
following tip:
Look towards what you have and move it
towards what you want. Allow for growth in
areas deficient of desirable traits. Always be
willing to accept your responsibility and fault
in your marriage. Love is not always pretty
but love will conquer all.
Change the metaphor that you associate
with developing your relationship.
Instead of “working” at it, learn to “play”.
“Work” feels heavy and makes us think of
future struggles, whereas “playfulness”
engages the things you associate with good
times, childhood comforts and moments of
spontaneity.
Timothy & Dr. Shantuan Taylor
Timothy and Dr. Shantuan
Coleman Taylor met in middle
school, yet their paths crossed

optimistic, energetic, thinks
outside the box yet is loving
and nurturing with a strong
foundation. Timothy is calming,
exciting, spontaneous with
rough edges.
Both are college educated
extroverts which brings the
magic to the relationship and
the chemistry others admire
but do not understand. They
are currently married living in
Dallas, Texas.
