a o t s r e e Ch ou Y w e N Keto October is the month of costumes, candy treats, fall festivals and the gateway to the holiday season.  It’s the time where many people put aside careful eating and scheduled exercise and vow to pick it all back up again with the New Year.  It’s something many of us have done every year.  What if this year though, you decide to do something different, you don’t quit, and deliver on your intention? My Keto journey began two years ago, two weeks before Christmas.  I’d had enough of the same thing year after year and it got harder each time. I knew something HAD to change, but what?  I also knew it had to be something I would and could continue for life.  I had to remember that life is full of Octobers and the months that follow.  Why not do something different, even perhaps a little radical? DECIDE that it WILL be different this time, this year.  You know what all those favorites taste like, nothing’s changed.  Buy a new cookbook, join a new group, or hire a coach! Decide that YOU are in control, NOT the carbs, sugar calories or well intentioned friends and family.    Don’t quit.  We ALL have the ability to change our food preferences.  It just takes time.  Find YOUR Keto “go to”. Be gentle and easy with yourself, even if you stumble, KEEP GOING! Deliver on your word to yourself, your body and your life.  Listen, a Keto lifestyle isn’t always the easiest, but it is well worth it!   Deliver good fats to your body, and DELETE the old habits and ways that have kept you where you are and in poor health. This New Year, THIS 2019 dedicate yourself to you and something new. Find new ways to enjoy the holidays y’all!
