I literally talk to myself most days and
keep myself focused and motivated to push
through every single day and never give up.
my life I knew what was
going to happen. You
have these moments in
life where your mouth
just drops and you
realize this could have
been me. I slept with
over 100 men and I’m
STD free. God saved me
so that I could raise my
son, so everything I do I
do for Him.
Ms. Pink: Was there a
turning point in your
life?
Kristle: I was raised in the church. My mom raised me the
right way. When I was in that abusive relationship, I lost
my mind and that is what lead to everything happening in
my life. I left that relationship and became promiscuous
because I was using sex as my thing to fill the void. I was
using sex and the men as the love that I wanted in my life.
I asked God to help me, change me. God told me to put a
Bible at the four corners of my bed, and every time I got an
urge or someone text
me I would pick up my
Bible and read it until
I fell asleep. Morning
would come and now
it would be time to go
to work.
Ms . Pink : We all
have different
experiences, but they
all serve a purpose.
Kristle :
I’ve
experienced so much.
I remember getting in
my car and going to
Quick Trip to bathe in
their bathroom sink to
go to work every day.
Living in my car, living
in a shelter, everything I’ve gone through served a purpose
for me to become who I am today. I told no one, because
of my pride.
