This is "Ukulele Anthem". It was inspired by a song of the same name by the amazing musician, Amanda Palmer. I admire her music, but especially her attitude. In the lyrics of the song, Amanda Palmer encourages creativity in whatever form it takes for you. She reminds us that we can change the world thru music and art and our own joy. So this is a painting for all you creative people out there, "following your bliss"; don't give up! "Promise John [Lennon] you won't feel guilty," for being creative.

Patricia Robin Woodruff,

an artist who’s inspiration and creativity is rooted in the mountains, nature and spirituality. She came to the artistic mecca of Floyd, VA drawn by its art, music and creative kindred spirits. When she needs solitude, she retreats to her homestead in the Appalachian mountains of PA, which is a geodesic dome run off of solar power, deep in the woods. Her goal is to create art that goes beyond the visual, to connect with the viewers mind and soul.
