The motive of love is past orientated and represents the “Collective”.
The motive of fear is future orientated and represents the “Individual”
Sandwiched between these motives is the present moment where every person has the opportunity to balance these two forces.
Both love and fear are necessary for life; both of these motives can either propel you or cripple you. Your choice.
Enter free will.
When we love we relax and slow down.
When we fear we tense and speed up.
This is the point at which we have arrived at in the West. Future fear obsessed.
Fear is a positive motivator and yes it helps us evolve, but not at the cost of our “now” or “present” moment.
This is too high a price.
If we slip into the past like the rest of the third world we won’t evolve but we would have time for one another. But natural disasters and misfortune is the enemy of those who don’t evolve, the universe is also keen to push evolution too and these are a reminder.
The only place you are safe is the present moment which is a fusion of love and fear.
The obese and overweight are overwhelmed by the pace of life in the west; this is a call for the collective spirit to be reinstalled before it’s too late.
The obese are resistant to the new world, they want no part in it, and so they switch to semi-glazed automaton and grow a fat jacket to keep the world out.
The “I” is the fragment or fracture, part, piece, the divided and the separate.
It divides and rules but you cannot divide the mind and body from its soul.
The west is now experiencing the backlash to this experiment.
So here we are confused, abused, dazed and malaised, wondering where it all went wrong.
In essence up to 40% of America is living in the past, in psychological time, on default in a less than conscious state, in a time where they were a human and not just a number on a database.
Collective spirit is the only solution to obesity.
Give these people the confidence to come out from behind the fat jacket defences and participate in reality.
Slow the pace down or it will collapse anyway, this is nature’s defence mechanism.
The “I” and the “Collective” are inseparable.
