I had been sending my manuscript to some publishers and had little response or they would say they don’t do such small books. While at Glenore Grove we received a phone call from Zeus Publications saying they would love to publish the book which was fantastic news.

We headed back down south in Spring and after helping my mother on her farm for a while ended up doing more farm-sitting. I was dying to start horse riding again after almost a two year break – horses being one of my great passions. We bought a bay mare named Bonnie and I enjoyed riding her for a few months but unfortunately broke my leg after a little fall. Soon after it was time to start editing with my editor Shelley and we spent two months getting the book ship shape – me from my bed with broken leg.

When Clive Dalkins emailed me the cover of the book I was so excited. I loved the luminosity of it, the picture really drew me in and I hoped it would do so for other people. A Spiritual Handbook for the Modern Era was ready for the market in May and I had a mid-winter launch and art show, Tropical, at Garden Gallery Café, in Wodonga in June.

This small book is a handbook for life. It provides spiritual sustenance and guidance for anyone searching for meaning or requiring assistance in times of trouble or confusion.
