At our school spirit events, we build community and create unforgettable memories. From the rumbling of the bleachers at pep rallies, to the sound of the pep band playing our alma mater at football games, to ringing the victory bell with your teammates after a big win— our Trojan traditions forge bonds that last a lifetime.
In the 200 + years since our founding, many traditions have evolved that connect our community and provide ways for our students, faculty, families, and friends to come together and celebrate our shared and individual victories. Our alumni often line the sidelines of Hill Stadium, proving that you’ re never too old for the maroon and gold.
HOMECOMING
Thornton Academy’ s Homecoming is a week-long celebration of Trojan tradition. We build community and create unforgettable memories during Spirit Week. Everyone is proud to be a Trojan at the student pep rally, and the annual Homecoming football game is attended by thousands.
GRADUATION
We honor our seniors during a full week of graduation celebrations. Our graduation ceremony is a culmination of four years of hard work and dedication, preceded by special senior events that recognize their transition to members of our alumni community.
