the birth of a daughter, Natalie, in
July. They are living in Saco. Mitchell Wilson and his wife Heather welcomed a son, Liam, in July. The family lives in Kennebunk.
Jennifer Paul graduated from
the University of Maine/Farmington in May 2005 and is teaching
fifth grade at Dayton Consolidated
School. Matt Hayward graduated
summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine in May with
a degree in communications. Jeremy Lowell earned a BS in business
administration from Endicott College in May 2006. John Laliberte
received a BS in hospitality administration from Boston University in
May 2006. Brock Major married
Meagan Ford ‘00 in August. They
are living in Hollis Center. Meagan
is an x-ray technician, and Brock
works at Clair Ford.
2002
Adam Baillargeon is working for
N’East Magazine in Portland as senior writer for the ski/ride industry
and having a great time doing it!
The quarterly is in its second year
of publication and targets a young
audience of skiers, snowboarders,
surfers and skateboarders with
great photography, profiles and
cool layouts. Jessica Wade and David Sylvester announced the birth
of a daughter, Cassidy, in November. Shaunna Paquette and Shawn
Hodge also welcomed a daughter,
Sierra, in August. Daughters arrived
for other classmates as well. Donald Sajecki and his wife Casondra
of Dayton announced the birth of a
daughter, Julia, in May, and Nicole
Mayer and Cory Gaumont ‘00 welcomed a daughter, Sydney, in July.
Lindsay Girard married Adam McNaughton in June. Lindsay teachers high school math, and Adam is
finishing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at University
of Maine/Orono.
Michael Peterson earned a degree
from St. Lawrence University with
a major in math and minor in religious studies. Katherine Michaud
graduated magna cum laude from
Elon University in May 2006 with

Dan Abboud graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology magna cum laude with a BS in construction management.
Garon Mailman graduated from
the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy in 2004 and has returned to
Saco to set up his business, Heads
Up Taxidermy. He has won several
awards in a competition sponsored
by Maine Association of Taxidermists. Casey Shea graduated from
Seton Hall University in May 2006
magna cum laude with a BA in communication (specifically journalism)
and a minor in English. “In August,
I became a part-time national producer with the CBS Television Stations Digital Media Group in New
York City,” wrote Casey in January.
“I provide 16 local CBS station websites with national stories, slideshows, pictures, videos and live
streams as well as troubleshooting
problems on their specific sites. In
December I was promoted to fulltime. I am living in northern New
Jersey with my girlfriend who I met
at Seton Hall.”
2003
Keil Martin, a senior at Saint Joseph’s College, was awarded the
first annual Frank Fixaris Internship
with the Portland Pirates hockey
team during the first semester. He
enjoyed the experience and hopes
to do communications work for a
baseball team when he graduates
in May. Dennis Fairweather and
Kelly McCafferty of Saco announced
the birth of a daughter, Brianna, in
August. Andrew Auble and Miah
James of Scarborough welcomed
the birth of a son, Andrew, in July.
Nicole Boissonneault Schmidt and
her husband Philip welcomed a son,
Nathanael, in October. The family live in Dayton. Tracy Burgess
Velazquez wrote recently to report
that she married Javier Velazquez in
June 2006. They are living in their
new home in Denver, CO, where
Tracy works as a leasing consultant
for AMLI Residential. Sean Mayo
is finishing the basketball season
at Franklin Pierce College as a cocaptain with an impressive record.
Shannon Stack graduated from Andover College last May with an associate degree in criminal justice, and
is working toward her BS in elementary education at University of New
England.

Morin ‘00 also announced the arrival of a daughter, Dakota, in December. They are living in Biddeford.
Greg Scontras, a junior at Boston
University, is spending the semester in Madrid. In the fall of 2006,
classmates and friends organized
a 50-mile memorial motorcycle ride
in memory of Normand Audie, who
died in an accident in September.
2005
Over the Christmas holiday, Megan
Higgins spent a month in Nairobi,
Kenya, teaching AIDS/HIV prevention strategies in local orphanages,
schools and communities as a volunteer with the Global Volunteer
Network. She estimates that of the
125 million adults in Kenya, nearly 10 percent of the women and 5
percent of men are known to have
contracted the virus, but many
more have not been tested. Megan
is a sophomore at Wagner College
in New York, studying biology and
Spanish. She has already travelled
to El Salvador as part of her community service, and volunteers in a
Staten Island after-school program
helping children from Mexico with
homework and English. “I want to
be a role model in the community
for those who think that one person
cannot make a difference,” she said
in a recent interview. “Community
service is more than just spending
your time to help other people, it’s
also the knowledge, growth of character and feeling of achievement
that you gain.”
2006
Andrew Letellier will play hockey
for the Merrimack College Warriors
next year. He is currently in his third
season with the Junior Pirates of the
Atlantic Junior Hockey League.
