Class of 1949 Raymond E. Shorey shares, " I am still working! My granddaughter is in college. TA saved my life!"
Class of 1951 Mary Johnson shares, " The T. A. Class of 1951 reunion was wonderful. Thank you for suggesting Duffy’ s in OOB. We had three round tables in the Fireside Room, seating seven at each table with no extra charge. The food and the service were very good. The T. A. sunglasses were a big hit."
May Hurrell Paquet’ s granddaughter Heather Maynard ' 96 stopped by about 6:15 and took photos of members of the class.
Class of 1952 Helen Hilton writes, " My dear husband, George passed away last year- March 2016. We had been married one month shy of 57 years. I keep busy with volunteering, reading, jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles and enjoying my children, grand children, and great grandchildren!"
Class of 1958 Carole A. Spiller is " looking forward to the Senior Luncheon and seeing lots of my 1958 classmates! My oncologist says I have far exceeded his prognosis and he thinks my cancer will not return! Life is wonderful. See you in the fall!"
Class of 1960 David Hill has been living in Seattle since 1988. He shares he,“ Moved back to maine to take care of Mom( 103) and aunt then back to the west coast. Retired from working for the Seattle Mariners / Seahawks / Sounders and into rehabbing old furniture ". Relates that“ the bad part of retirement is you don’ t get any days off!”
Class of 1960 Andy Kochis has many memories of Saco, Elmwood Drive and skating at Moody’ s Pit. He has touched base over the years with Larry Chelder, Eugene Moody and Ellen Clark( Benodin). He joined the Air Force in 1961, became a Russian Linguist and had an extensive career in the military and National Security Agency in the intelligence business. Used to enjoy fishing trips to Canada but Father Time has cut the number down to just a few. Celebrated 52nd anniversary in April. Has a daughter, two grandkids and many stepgrandkids. Does not miss winters in Maine but is still an avid Red Sox fan.
Bruce Miller retired over 10 years ago and has traveled in their RV through all the lower 48 and most of Canada. Lots to see. Still finds time to go“ blue-grassing” and visit with grandkids and great grandkids!
Norman Bowie lives in Hudson Valley, NY near Woodstock-the“ town of love and peace” with his wife Maureen. Retired from University of Minnesota, Professor Emeritus, Carlson School of Management. Five grandchildren who live far away and visits ME to see sister Nancy and brother Larry every so often.
Richard Drown is living in Dothan, Alabama. Widowed in 2015. Exercise / physical therapy five times a week. Attends high school sports events regularly. Umpired for 17
