In Memoriam Notice: Class of 1945 Paul Francis Kelleher passed away on September 18, 2015. Paul’ s wife Helen writes,“ He enlisted in the Army in August of 1944, during World War II. He received his diploma from Thornton Academy after receiving credit for service time and went on to graduate from the University of Maine.
Class of 1949 Mary Neal Morrison shares,“ I’ m still able to drive to Maine twice a year: for Easter and in the fall for the Fryeburg Fair and my son Tom’ s birthday in October. I spend much of my time getting‘ therapy’ working in my garden. My 75’ x 120’ city lot has very little lawn.”
Class of 1951 Muriel Thompson Nado shares she is looking forward to seeing her grandson graduate from Brown University in May with a master’ s degree in Computer Science.
Class of 1953 Rita Choroszy Boudreau shares,“ I am enjoying retirement and have been very busy! We have 24 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.”
Class of 1958 Carole Warren Spiller shares that her husband, Don, has had his challenges this past year, but is still fighting to stay strong! So far she is beating her cancer, and enjoying managing bands, and talking with their sons and their families in Houston & Dallas. She loved the Senior Luncheon last fall and seeing so many old friends and is hoping to be there again this fall! Her sisters are both eligible now... yay!
Class of 1961 Michael Prejean states,“ Lots of traveling: Costa Rica, San Francisco and Yellowstone.”
Class of 1967 Wayne Grenier has been the Assistant General Manager at Indian Mound Golf Club since 2010. He started power lifting a year ago- competing and doing well. He is also a cancer survivor for 3 + years and is feeling great!
In Memoriam Notice: Class of 1971 Dona Lynn, 61, of Woodland Hills, CA passed away on February 2, 2015. Born in Queens, NY, she is survived by her parents Eleanor & William Koutalidis’ 48, siblings Chris’ 84, Vanessa’ 89, and Cassandra Leisey’ 78 and by her son, Rick. She made the world a more beautiful place by her work in the cosmetics industry, and by the way she lived her life. She loved passionately, cared deeply, and lived her life to the fullest.

WICKED TUNA
Captain Garon Mailman’ 02 has been tuna fishing since 2009 and has appeared on National Geographic’ s“ Wicked Tuna” TV series for several seasons. He now fishes full-time for tuna with his fishing vessel OpporTUNAty, harbored at Camp Ellis.
On July 13, 2016 Captain Garon docked at Camp Ellis with three Blue Fin Tuna on deck. The far right photo shows an unofficial recordsetting bluefin tuna, 111 inches long, caught on Monday, August 8, 2016 off the coast of southern Maine. Garon is pictured with girlfriend Lindsay St. Louis.
