FROM YOUR CHAIRMAN

leash at all times when in the estate , with the one exception of the section of the road reserve that is clearly marked . I know it looks cool to let your dog off in the park in front of your house , or as you walk down the road but if everyone did that with their dogs it would be mayhem . So … please stick to the rules , respect your fellow resident and keep your dog on its lead as you walk around the estate . No exceptions please , we would rather focus on the main issues than chasing you over this matter . Another issue that has come up at our Board meetings is parking of cars in the street or parks . The odd time is fine if you are having some friends over but it should not be every day all day . When we approve building plans we ensure that you are all aware of the parking requirements , off the street parking is a must so let ’ s please use it . I hate being the wagging finger but someone has to do it and we do have to enforce our rules and regulations since that is what the majority of our residents want us to do . We will put a notice on your car to ask you to refrain from parking in the street before we fine you for the next month only . After that we will need to pick up the pace in getting the message across .
Am I not just the cheeriest person today ? I love being part of the vision and strategy of how Thornhill moves forward , hate the wagging finger bit . Would much rather write to you about some new music artist that I have come across than the nasty bits . Grace Sewell , known simply as Grace , is a young Australian singer that has hit my playlist of late . Stunning voice , great sounding songs and just the music to cheer you up as you walk your dog , on its lead , down tree lined streets filled with … just sights and sounds , no cars , no mess , just the nicest suburb to live in .
Stay safe till next time and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year . Stephen W Burrow , Chairman THOA
