His parents, Rob and Cindy were the third people to buy and the first to move into Thornhill Estate nearly 20 years ago. Liam attends Jeppe High School for Boys, the oldest public school in Johannesburg and he is currently in Grade 11. His love for water sports started at a young age. He started swimming for a club, was chosen for Eastern Gauteng Aquatics and obtained a Level 3 time in breaststroke. He discovered water polo in Grade 7, and has been selected for Central Gauteng Schools water polo ‘A’ Team every year since then. Last year, 2017, he was the youngest player to be selected for the Central Gauteng team to participate in the SA Schools Currie Cup Tour- nament, playing in the ‘B’ Team. This year, he was again selected, but for the’ A’ Team. After the Water Polo Interprovincial Tour- nament in December 2017, where his u16 team won Gold, he was selected to play for the South African u17 Water Polo Team. The team competed in the EU Nations Tourna- ment in Prague recently, where they won the tournament overall and returned with Gold Medals. Liam was selected to play for Jeppe’s 1st Water Polo Team when he was only in Grade 9, and he has been awarded Full Water Polo colours at school, as well as Half Colours for swimming. Not only is he a great water polo player, but he succeeds on the rugby field too. He was selected to play for the Golden Lions u16 ‘A’ Team last year, competing at the Grant Kho- mo Week Tournament. Liam is also a Top Ten pupil at Jeppe and he was recently awarded
