FROM THE CHAIRMAN Lastly the AGM is coming up this month. I know, you thought we had held it al- ready and you were able to dodge coming out in the cold for this. Unfortunately, it did not go ahead, we were about eight people short for a quorum on the day, but it was also pointed out that we had not sent out the list of candidate nomi- nations 14 days prior to the meeting. There was some discussion around other rules allowing us to carry on if something had not been omitted by accident, but I believe we need the board to be elected without controversy so cancelling and finding a new date made the most sense to us at the time. My apologies to all of you that did attend all the same and I hope we can hold our next AGM without any mistakes or oversights spilling over to the actual meeting. This time around can I ask that you make the time to attend. We have brought the time forward a bit to help families attend and get away in time for a family lunch or other commitments. It would be useful if we could see more of the age group that attended the Gin & Bear Night for example, that was a great night with lots of young Mum & Dad’s giving me tons of useful advice on how to de- velop the estate going forward. In reality I find building a team of like-minded members is more productive, all the same two board members, myself and Ian Boxall, are not up for election this year as we are only one year into our two-year stint, this leaves us four seats to fill. We will be putting out a nomination list as soon as it has been firmed up and you, the members, will decide what that team is going to look like for the next year. All I can say about this right now is that we have been blessed with a strong team to date as well as strong support in the background from residents that have the skills to assist as well as the time and
