This Dutch Colonial Revival house was built as a model home by Charles W . Hunt , an architect from Tennessee seeking to settle in Thomasville . In 1885 , it was purchased by winter vacationer Evelyn Burbank and remained in the family for 70 years . The house was purchased by Dr . Ben Grace in 1977 . He restored the house and added a solarium , garage and greenhouse . Today , the home is owned by Hinson and Lauren Arwood .
