Special guests at the Pebble Hill tea will be the reigning Miss Thomasville , Aniya Morris , and Sandra Jones , a founding member of the Wiregrass Camellia Society and chairman of the American Trail Gardens committee for the American Camellia Society . A special camellia tea will be on the menu at the Pebble Hill event . The grounds at Pebble Hill highlight the landscape design of Ethelwyn Harrison , a friend of Kate Hanna Harvey . Harrison gave prominence to camellias in her design . There are 100 of them in several varieties on the grounds .

Kitty Spivey . “ We hope that everyone can get a sense of how splendid it would have been to be at Pebble Hill during the time of Kate and Pansy . It will be a step back in time , and we want everyone to enjoy a relaxing morning of entertainment and conversation . We can ’ t imagine a better way to experience these beautiful grounds than gathering with special friends and a cup of tea .” Pebble Hill Plantation is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday , with Main House tours being offered Tuesday-Saturday . The plantation is situated on 3,000 acres with 80 of those acres available for visitors to enjoy .
