Crane Cottage , constructed in 1917 , was the most expensive home among Jyekll Island Club members . The cottage and its 13 guest rooms is now rented as part of the Jekyll Island Club Resort .

Over a million lights glisten in the historic district filled with some of the island ’ s most impressive live oak trees . A light parade , winter carnival and fireworks are part of the festival ’ s offerings .
