The arts community in Thomasville is unlike any other . With a vibrant public art display in the center of downtown and a longstanding community theater in the heart of the city , it ’ s easy to see how Thomasville attracts such amazing talent . When thinking of a family synonymous with the arts , it ’ s impossible to forget the Watsons , who have given their time , energy and love to Thomasville On Stage and Company , Off Broad Street Center for the Dance Arts , Troupe and the Thomasville City Schools Drama Program .

Siblings JW and Hogan Watson have loved performing since they were kids . Now a senior , Hogan intends to take his talent with him to college , while JW lives out the dream of auditioning on American Idol .
The oldest of three siblings , JW began doing theatre at a young age .
“ My mom always said I came out of the womb singing ,” JW joked . “ It was just something I would always do . We were on a family trip to Disney , and I was singing while walking around the parks and people stopped my dad to ask him if I was singing there .”
Hogan Watson takes center stage in Fiddler on the Roof .
