I had the chance to speak to him about his career, his thoughts and his personal life. Eli: Can you tell me a bit about why you wanted to become an artist and how you started in the music business? Perrone: Since I was a kid I used to be interested in music, singing in particular. I created my first band when I was 15 years old and after we made a demo tape. When I finally joined Medusa, and we started making music a bit more seriously, we got in contact with bigger labels and we finally signed with the major label, EMI. Eli: Which artists were your inspirations? Perrone: Too many, Syd Barrett and Mike Patton above all. Eli: Nice! I would guess that your first love is music. Do you have any other great loves?
