Resolution appointed experienced
journalist Julie Burniston to head up the
magazine in 2019, and Tees Life will this year
launch its inaugural Tees Lifestyle Awards,
celebrating the best restaurants, pubs, hotels
and small businesses in the region.
“Tees Life is one big celebration of the Tees
Valley region,” says editor Julie.
“We love promoting the region – both
with the magazine and now our awards
event – it’s what we do.”
A glossy high-end magazine, Tees Life
is delivered free to homes and businesses
across Teesside including Wynyard,
Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick,
Wolviston, Norton, Hartburn, Nunthorpe,
Marton, Linthorpe, Stokesley and
Guisborough.
With a print circulation of 9,000-plus,
Tees Life is A4 size, printed on full colour,
high-quality print, and offers local businesses
the perfect vehicle to promote their high-end
products and services to affluent Teessiders.
Julie adds: “Many people still love the
printed publication, to sit and read with a
coffee on the sofa or during a break, and we
try to make Tees Life a quality read.
“It is funded by sponsored content as well
as advertising, because it’s a free magazine,
but more than 50% of the magazine is in-
house editorial, produced by professional
writers and photographers.
“We take great pride in Tees Life and we’d
like to think our readers appreciate that.”
