Why do we produce This Is Tees Valley? Quite simply, because we believe in this place.
At Resolution Media and Publishing, our business exists to champion the Tees region. Not because we want to paint an unrealistically rosy picture, but because we know this region deserves to be recognised for what it truly is: ambitious, innovative, resilient and full of opportunity. This publication is the embodiment of that belief. Produced with the support of Tees Valley Combined Authority, This Is Tees Valley showcases the people, businesses, projects and ideas helping shape one of the UK’ s most exciting regions.
Every year, 10,000 copies are placed into the hands of investors, decisionmakers and business leaders across Teesside, the wider North-East and major cities including London, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh.
We couldn’ t do it without the remarkable organisations that continue to support it. Since the first edition in 2020, a who’ s who of Tees Valley business, education and industry has stood behind this publication. The innovators. The disruptors. The pioneers. The organisations driving investment, creating opportunity and helping redefine how our region is seen.
There’ s also messages to potential investors and business partners for the region from different political colours – with Tees Valley’ s Conservative mayor Ben Houchen and Stockton North’ s Labour MP Chris McDonald showing that the Tees Valley has a united front that cuts across the usual divides.
Our hope and belief is that, as you turn these pages, you’ ll discover something that surprises you.
Our expectation is that you’ ll finish them with an even greater appreciation of a region whose best chapters are still being written.
