It’ s been three years since Erimus rebranded to Gallagher, and since then, our presence in the North-East has gone from strength to strength. With an established office in Stockton and a growing team of insurance and risk management specialists, we remain committed to supporting businesses across the region- from construction and manufacturing to tech, finance and renewables.
Since the rebrand, we’ ve welcomed new colleagues to our Stockton team, including experienced hires and apprentices. This continued growth reflects not only the strength of the regional economy, but also our investment in developing local talent. Through our apprenticeship programme, we’ re helping young people build rewarding careers and gain the skills needed to thrive in the insurance sector.
But our commitment to the region goes beyond recruitment. We’ re passionate about supporting local causes and giving back to the communities we serve- and we remain committed to the many local charities and community groups we continue to support across the area. One recent example is our £ 1,000 donation to the Power Of Women campaign- an initiative helping to raise aspirations and create opportunities for girls and young women across Teesside. It’ s just one of the ways we’ re working to make a positive difference, both in business and beyond.
And as the North-East’ s industries continue to grow, so too do the risks they face. One of the most pressing threats we’ re seeing is the rise in cybercrime. High-profile attacks have dominated headlines and shown that no organisation is immune- regardless of size or sector. In response, we’ re supporting clients not only with specialist cyber insurance, but also with proactive cyber risk management strategies, including staff training, vulnerability assessments and incident response planning.
