SeAH Wind’ s £ 900m facility on the South Bank site is the largest of its kind in the world and is set to have an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of monopiles.
These monopiles will be transported directly from the factory to Teesworks’ under-construction South Bank Quay before heading to the North Sea for installation.
The site also supports emerging technologies in hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage. This focus on clean energy innovation positions Teesworks as a critical component of the UK ' s journey toward net-zero emissions.
