The people are as loyal as they come , but welcome outsiders who have the same values as them . I live a long way away , but while my body is near my work , my heart is on Teesside .

I ’ ve taken the knock-backs as well as the good stuff , but the warmth is there as well . Totally proud of being from there , definitely .

Every time I go back there ’ s more improvements and advancements . We have some wonderful countryside within the town and outskirts and some wonderful buildings . It ’ s beautiful .
