Team – MediPro ’ s workforce increased by 25 per cent last year to cope with increased demand for its services .
While rightfully proud of having trained thousands of students and helping them to achieve their career aspirations , MediPro ’ s interest and belief in people remains at the core of everything it does .
The firm ' s values include creating a nurturing and supportive environment for its students and staff and appreciating that each individual has their own learning style .
This understanding approach has led to MediPro becoming accredited Investors in People in 2021 , with commitments being made to further develop its workforce and make their workplace a better place .
It was also shortlisted in the Apprenticeship Programme of the Year award at the 2021 Learning Awards , as well as Entrepreneur of the Year in the Educate North Awards in the same year .
Recently , the company was nominated in the Excellence in Supporting Armed Forced Talent category at the CIPD North East of England HR & D Awards .
The award recognises organisations that engage with and support the armed forces community and their families through employment opportunities , development , volunteering or fundraising .
MediPro takes pride in supporting former military personnel in helping to build their lives after their careers in the armed forces , whether they are members of staff or students on a course who are developing new qualifications in the medical field .
Its willingness to give back to the community also saw MediPro donate an ambulance to Ukraine as the war unfolded in that country .
The vehicle was handed over to the charity Durham to Ukraine , which also received a £ 1,000 donation from MediPro , helping them to equip the ambulance with supplies and deliver it to the emergency services on the front line .
It was a fitting gift from a company that recognises the importance of care and compassion .
