New Crop of Girl Surfers down at the
Pier
Recently, after watching a Huntington
Beach High School workout, Tomson
gushed about the new crop of girl
surfers down at the pier saying, “they
look good, their chin’s are up and their
shoulders are back and they’re really
finishing their waves and learning how
to get radical.”
“There’s such a great bunch of mentors
around Huntington Beach that just want
to see surfing progress” said Tomson,
which is one reason he wants to live
here. Tomson, who works at Bolsa
Chica State Beach, likes what he sees

Tomson has it right, WSL sponsors
should make plans to get back to their
ATM’s before the Women’s WSL 2016
events—times have changed.
