lucky
to
live
in
a
community
that
advocates
for
older
people.
While
our
Community
Service
Commission
labors
over
naming
a
new
37,563-‐square-‐foot
facility,
slated
to
replace
the
existing
Rodgers
Seniors
Center
later
in
the
year,
it
would
also
be
the
perfect
moment
to
begin
tackling
a
serious
issue
impacting
the
entire
Huntington
Beach
community—ageism.
Having
written
on
ageism
for
other
publications,
the
subject
has
been
on
my
mind
once
again—
I’ll
explain.

before
the

his

at
Big
