Liza’s thoughts W e hope we haven’t scared you… too much. Our goal with this issue was to inform, to entertain, and to provoke some deeper thought. As the leaves fall off the trees and the nights grow longer, we wanted to take a moment to peek into some of the cracks of fashion tech. We hope you enjoyed as we dusted off a few cobwebs and peered around some corners. As we look ahead, we see the glittering holiday season, a time when online retailers expect to ring up a combined $43B in sales. We also see the end of the year on the horizon; according to our proprietary research, $1.2B has been invested in fashion tech companies so far this year.   What will the total numbers be?
