It’s not hard these days to find someone worrying in print about the privacy concerns of
wearable tech. e new iPhone from Apple collects your biometric data. Google Glass
records the world around the wearer – including you, with or without your permission.
Smart watches and fitness trackers know how healthy you are. Some even call wearable
tech wearable surveillance.
e implications of this prolific sharing of data have yet to be understood, but some
designers are already addressing the concerns – in actual products or with concept ideas.
