Women Innovate Mobile
As women rise to work in traditionally male-dominated industries such as technology, there is still a lack of female leaders in the C-suites,
executive level, and investment firms. It seems clear that organizations that support and champion women are necessary in vocalizing an
obvious to most (but not to all!) disparity. Meet Women Innovate Mobile. WIM is the first accelerator of its kind for women-founded/cofounded ventures that focus on mobile technology or app-based business. WIM is highly involved in the NYC tech scene and frequently
collaborates with Women in Wireless, NY Tech Women, and even TWF on events around the city. WIM has even supported female developerfocused hackathons with companies like AT&T. With passionate leadership, a source of industry connections for entrepreneurs, startup
resources and more, WIM is an integral part of the cause to bring awareness to the lack of women in technology.
