Model Lyndsey Scott has developed iPort, an app that could change how the industry looks at and shares portfolios, a crucial element to landing jobs in the industry. iPort serves as a Passbook-type app for models to collect and manage their portfolio materials in one place, without worrying about a book falling apart or tearing. FAST COMPANY DESIGN We’ve seen how Uber has influenced car services, but what if laundry had the same convenience? Startup Washio has created an app that goes beyond sending out laundry by allowing users to schedule pickups, select between dry cleaning or wash-and-fold and by promising to have it done in 24 hours. ough the service launched in Los Angeles, it’s expected that Washio will be available in ten more cities within the year.
